I am a photographer, filmmaker, designer and engineer (Multimedia & Technology Solutions Provider).
Self-employed since 2010, I have developed a career in working in the fields of technology and creativity. My work has ranged from photography commissions, making short films, web and print design and technical consultations.
I’ve gained experience working with individuals and across a diverse spectrum of sectors including creative industries, charities, education, arts and performance.
Organisations I worked with include ACME Studios, Artsadmin, Camden Arts Centre, Culture+Conflict, Gasworks, Grizedale Arts, Ibraaz, The Independent Film & Television College (Baghdad), Jerwood Visual Arts, Picturehouse Cinemas, Quintessentially Soho at the House of St. Barnabas, Station House Opera.
Prior to that, I worked for two years providing technical support for Microsoft’s Online Advertising and four years as IT Support Manager for KnowledgeView: configuring, deploying and integrating web-based editorial systems for daily newspapers in the Middle East and the UK including the Independent News and Media in London.
I have a M.Sc and B.Sc in Electronics and Communications engineering from the University of Baghdad.
